I am a home baker that struggles to find fresh yeast in my local area in South Yorkshire. So if I am buying it in this large quantity (for me) I need fresh yeast to be just that fresh. It needs to stay active while I can use it and then freeze it. I was perhaps surprisingly pleased that it took a couple of days to come while they “got it ready” as I hoped this meant it would be very fresh. Mine was a good active block that I could used in amounts as recipes suggested and get a good result. I kept half in the fridge and froze half, and the fridge stored part was still as active after a couple of weeks. Recommend this supplier.

Delivered by 8.15am by APC. packaged really well with a freezer pack in an insulated bag. Home baker so i’ll be portioning, bagging & freezing to use as I need. Top marks all round.
