£10861 raised for The Alzheimer’s Society
Our target this year was to raise £6000 for The Alzheimer’s Society, but we are incredibly proud to have almost doubled that target.
Our Bakery Boss completed the 192 mile trek from Coast to Coast earlier this month, and raised an astounding total of £10861.02 for such an amazing cause.
The mammoth walk took 15 days for David Smart and fellow walker and friend Mark Power to complete.
The journey took them through the hills and hollers of the Yorkshire Countryside. The pair walked around 15 miles each day with help from fellow adventurers and beloved family members who supported them through every step.
The £10861.02 is going direct to The Alzheimer’s Society, to help support families and individuals suffering from this cruel disease.
