Our vanilla slice is one of our classic but indulgent fresh cream cakes – in this case a freshly made vanilla custard cream sandwiched between layers of rich butter puff pastry to make a sandwich that’s a sweet tooth’s dream, especially thanks to the sweet soft fondant icing layer on the top.
