Shop Manager

Salary: £21,528 per annum.

We are looking for dynamic customer - focused Managers for our shops with lots of personality and a love of food. As a shop manager, the shop is yours. As well as meeting, greeting and serving our customers with the care and attention we are known for, you will be checking, rotating and handling stock, merchandising bread shelves and fridges in store and even freshly baking some of our goods as well as actively managing your team, assigning duties and responsibilities to achieve the highest customer service standards, you will also be controlling costs and achieving sales results.

You will ensure the punctual opening of your shop and conduct regular checks to ensure the shop is functional with presentable effective displays throughout the day.

You will control stock availability to maximise your sales, and ensure that all products on sale are quality checked (very important).

It is paramount that you ensure efficient staff development and that your team members are focused, motivated and trained.

You will process all deliveries, daily and weekly, ensuring stock disciplines are carried out such as correct ordering, stock counts, merchandising and stock rotation you will also handle and balance your daily cash.

You will maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety.

You will above all, be a good role model, because we are totally convinced that a superior Greenhalgh's retail shop (quality products, good service and a great atmosphere) is entirely due to the talent and skill of an excellent manager and an exceptional team.

Great customer service is at the heart of what we do, so you will need to love working in a customer facing environment. You will need to be flexible over 7 days and available to work weekends. Customer care and a passion for our products is all that is required.

No experience is necessary, full training will be provided.
