Steak & Ale pie with sweet potato mash
Serve for lunch or dinner

Ingredients
4 Greenhalgh’s Steak & Ale pie
4 small Maris Piper potatoes peeled and cubed
2 small sweet potatoes peeled and cubed
50g (2oz butter)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Methods
Place individual pies on a baking tray in the centre of a pre heated oven 180ºC 350ºF Gas mark 4 for approx 20 minutes. Ensure product is piping hot throughout.
To make the mash:
Boil all the potatoes in water until they are very soft when poked with a sharp knife. Drain the potatoes well, and then mash with the butter and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Serve with buttered runner beans.
