Bread
Rediscover the taste of bread with Greenhalgh's. From FIELD or FARM to FOOD. We at Greenhalgh's are meticulous in sourcing only the best ingredients to ensure FLAVOUR and FRESHNESS with every bite. We use flour that has been milled only from 100% Canadian wheat that has been grown in Manitoba. The best wheat from the best wheat growing area in the world. These wheats are specifically selected for Greenhalgh's. Time honoured only by natural fermentation. Fermentation creates flavour. Our recipes for breads demand that we start to ferment our breads 16-24 hours before we put them in the oven. Therefore our breads are flavour full. Long fermentation in bread creates tastier, crisper crusts. The loaf stays softer longer, without the need of enzyme additives.

Sandwiches
Greenhalgh's make a wide variety of sandwiches on a selection of craft baked breads from sumptuously filled golden grain rolls to sun dried tomato breads. Your'e sure to find a delicious filling to suit your taste from favourites like BLT and Cheese and Tomato to the more rich flavoured Fresh Salmon and Watercress or Premium Topside of Beef and Mustard Mayonnaise.

Savouries
Only selected lean cuts of beef, turkey, chicken and pork are used to create our delicious savouries. All cooking is by open steam boilers which improves the flavour of the product. Our products are also made in air conditioned and fully hygienic surroundings with computer controlled blast cooling storage ensuring total baking quality. Our range currently consists of Potato & Meat Pie, Lancashire Pasty. Meat Pie, Whist Pie, Steak & Kidney, Beefsteak Pie, Vegetable Pasty, Hot Pot, Cheese & Onion Pie, Potato & Meat Plain Pasty, Potato & Meat Puff Pasty, Sausage Roll, Chicken Pasty, Cheese Pasty, Steak Pudding, Small Pork Pie and Chicken & Mushroom Pie ......

Confectionery
Approximately fifty different confectionery lines are produced six days a week. The range includes fresh dairy cream cakes and gateaux, fancy cakes of all descriptions, scones, danish pastries, cake loaves, swiss rolls, gingerbreads and seasonal lines such as parkin and mince pies. All are made with that special Greenhalgh's flair which makes them so deliciously different.

Celebration Cakes
Greenhalgh's continues to make available a wide range of celebration cakes for every occasion. In our centre of excellence celebration cake department we are proud to use our hand crafted skills of ornamentation to provide an individualised design for your special day.

Soups
Fresh Soups are all prepared by Greenhalgh's chefs to complement the delicious range of 'Take home the difference' meals. These are available hot to take away or to take home in 500ml and 1 litre bottles.

Seasonal Lines
As the year evolves through the various seasonal changes, so too, do we innovate many new ideas which appeal to those particular requirements. Christmas, Easter, or Halloween to name only a few we have become famous for our gingerbreads, children's style novelties and, of course, the traditional seasonal favourites.

Greenhalgh's are proud to present its new "Take home the difference" range. This comprises of finely prepared ready meals to suit all tastes each prepared by Greenhalgh's chefs to complement other delicious range of takeaway products available.
