Greenhalgh’s Launches Low GI Bread
Greenhalgh’s Craft Bakery has just launched a
multi-seed brown bread which is low GI. GI or
Glycaemic Index is the measure by which food is
broken down and absorbed into the blood stream as
glucose and insulin. The faster this occurs, the
higher its GI rating - the so-called “sugar rush” -
which is short lived and leaves a person feeling
hungry and fatigued afterwards. more

its planned fleet of mobile shops. The vehicle,
following a route predetermined by demand and
requests from customers, delivers and sells,
sandwiches, pies, cakes and drinks to offices and
work premises located at several of Bolton’s major
business parks. more

loaves
Greenhalgh’s Craft Bakery has just launched its new
Sole Baked Bloomer loaf in both white and brown
varieties. The loaf is made using traditional hand
moulding and then baked for a little bit longer, in
a stone soled oven. This helps to roast the loaf for
a deeper fuller, flavour. more
