A four man team from Greenhalgh’s undertook the challenge of the year for Action Medical Research and undertook an exciting triathlon-style challenge where teams of four compete to cycle 50 miles, climb Helvellyn and canoe Lake Thirlmere starting at sunrise and finishing by sunset – racing the sun! Apart from the odd injury the team managed to finish the event with a smile on their faces in 10 hours.
With generous sponsorship including a company donation, the lads managed to raise £2400 for the charity.
