Crumpet Loaf “Reinventing Something Basic”

Bakery manager Stephen Jones spoke to British Baker about the concept, how it felt to accept the award and tips for entrants into the category this year. CHILDREN IN NEED 2012
9th December 2012Greenhalgh’s staff took the opportunity to help raise £1517.40p for Children In Need which involved dressing up and donations by Greenhalgh’s on specific products sold and also the giveaway of biscuits to customers who donated their loose change.
FUNDRAISING EVENING
9th December 2012Staff family & friends showed their support for Kidney Research UK with a bumper fundraising evening. The fundraising evening which was held on December 8th 2012 raised £920.00p through the sale of tickets and a raffle. The evening was held at the R.M.I Chorley New Road Horwich with a disco, singer and the provisions of a delicious buffet donated by Greenhalgh’s. The evening was very enjoyable and a big thank you to all staff their families and friends for supporting the evening.
