The British Confectioners' Association is a body of practising flour confectioners. It is a craft organisation and plays no part in trade politics or in negotiation or discussions with official bodies. Membership is by individual and not by firm. It is limited to 60 ordinary members who are elected once a year by postal ballot. By tradition a quarter come from Scotland.
